about me
It’s important to find a therapist you feel safe and comfortable with. Someone who can help you navigate life’s challenges with empathy and skill. Having spent time on the other side of the couch myself, I understand both the vulnerability of opening up to someone new and the relief that comes from feeling truly seen and heard by your therapist. I consider it a privilege to be in a career that I love so much, and I’m passionate about creating a space where people can feel empowered to share their stories.
my approach
Relationships can be complicated, and that’s okay. We all carry life experiences and patterns that shape how
we connect with the people we care about. I work with couples and families to help them make sense of what’s happening between them, so they can shift from disconnection and conflict toward clarity, compassion, and healthier ways of relating.
I also work with individuals who are seeking emotional healing or a deeper sense of peace within themselves. My approach is trauma-informed and holistic, grounded in an understanding of the mind–body connection and the many aspects of life that influence well-being. Because of this, you won’t receive cookie-cutter advice or a one-size-fits-all treatment plan from me. I want to understand you. Your story, your strengths, and your values, so that we can work together in a way that feels meaningful and effective.
Before joining Relate Therapy Houston, I worked as an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach, leading group therapy sessions and offering one-on-one support. I also served as a volunteer crisis counselor, supporting people during some of their most vulnerable and overwhelming moments. These experiences strengthened my belief that everyone deserves to be heard without judgment, and that while growth can be uncomfortable at times, the changes that follow are worth the effort.
Therapy is about progress, not perfection. Because let’s be real, nobody is perfect (not even therapists!). If you have questions about me or my approach, or if you’re curious whether we might be a good fit, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
