about me
It is important to find a therapist that you feel safe and comfortable with, someone who can help you navigate life’s challenges with empathy and skill. Having been on my own mental health journey, I understand both the vulnerability of opening up to someone new and the relief of feeling truly seen and heard by your therapist. I am passionate about creating a space where clients can feel empowered to share their stories, and I believe that everyone deserves to be heard without judgment.
my approach
As a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern, I specialize in helping clients navigate family dynamics and
relationship challenges. I’m especially passionate about supporting those struggling with eating disorders, body image concerns, and food-related anxiety. In a culture saturated with conflicting messages about dieting and health, it’s easy to feel stuck or overwhelmed. I strive to be a supportive ally as you sort through these messages and work toward freedom from food and body worries.
Every client is unique, and therapy should reflect that. I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatments and tailor my approach to meet each person’s individual needs. I also work through a trauma-informed lens, prioritizing your feelings of safety and comfort while challenging you toward meaningful progress.
Before joining Relate Therapy Houston, I worked as an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach, leading group therapy sessions and offering one-on-one support. I also served as a volunteer crisis counselor, helping people during some of their most vulnerable moments. I consider it a privilege to be in a career that I love so much. When I’m not working or reading up on mental health topics, some of my favorite ways to unwind include taking my fur babies, Peach and Bear, on walks, and exploring new places in Houston with friends and family.
Therapy is about progress, not perfection. Because let’s be real, no one’s perfect (not even therapists!). Growth can be uncomfortable at times, but it’s also deeply rewarding. Whether you’re seeking individual, couples, or family therapy, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing and well-being.
